[2026.04.02] NAML has hosted a guest talk by Prof. Hongyun So from Hanyang University.

NAML host a guest talk. On this occasion, our invited  speaker was Hongyun So, Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Hanyang University,

Prof. So has focused his talk on the development of 3D printing-based sensors and actuators for wearable healthcare monitoring and robotic applications, supported by AI-assisted virtual sensing and multiphysics computational analysis. Feasibility tests demonstrated the high sensitivity, durability, and practical applicability of the developed sensing platforms. This integrated framework combining additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and sensor technologies will accelerate the development of next-generation intelligent sensing systems and soft robotic devices.

[2025.09.23]  NAML has hosted a guest talk by Dr. Jongrak Choi from Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI)

NAML host a guest talk. On this occasion, our invited  speaker was Jongrak Choi, Senior Researcher of the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI)

Dr. Cho has focused his talk on CFD-based thermal analysis of coolant passage configurations for electric aircraft motors. Parametric case studies verified the effects of coolant channel arrangements on flow distribution, pressure drop, and heat transfer characteristics, enabling improved thermal performance while maintaining acceptable hydraulic losses. This numerical design framework provides valuable guidance for the development of efficient cooling systems in next-generation electric propulsion technologies.

[2025.01.03] NAML has hosted a guest talk by Prof. In Ho Cho from Iowa State University.

NAML host a guest talk. On this occasion, our invited  speaker was In Ho Cho, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering, Iowa State University,

Prof. Cho. has focused in his talk on the multiple functionalities can include nano-scale color, frictions, and bactericidal properties, all realized by the AI. Feasibility tests underpin the promising capability of the framework that can potentially enable more multi-functional nano-scale surface properties. This computational framework will serve as a multi-physics surrogate model to help accelerate fast fabrications of nanopatterns with light and AI.
